Disabling it comes to mind, if you don't need it. What operating system and how much hard drive and free space do you have?

Have you done System Cleanup? Deleted unneccesary files?

i am using windows xp, i have 18.62 GB and 5% free space so I cant defrag

i have deleted temporary internet folders and removed programs...nothing seems to free up space.  I printed out the report from the disk defragmenter and i think a lot of it is system restore stuff....

i am not very computer literate....please bear with me!

did you mean disabling system restore?  how would i do that?

Well I went to Google.com and entered "disable system restore" and look what I got on the first pick:  ::) It took about 1 second.

Google is your friend and you can do it too!
