I am using IE 7.
You posted your topic in the Windows Vista and 7 section. But, apparently, you are using Windows XP. Is that right? IE8 is the latest version of IE for Windows XP. I suggest you get it; you can get it at
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=43. Later versions of browsers generally provide more secure web browsing, meaning less vulnerability to malware that can be picked up from web browsing.
There is a difference in Google. One is Google Chrome (red, yellow & green circle icon) and the other non- Google chrome (Blue e icon).
I see you still don't know the difference between a web browser and a website. Chrome (red, yellow & green circle icon) is Google's web browser. The program represented by the Blue e icon is Internet Explorer, Microsoft's web browser; it is not a "non- Google chrome", whatever that means.
All my windows updates are set for automatic.
Then, why do you still have IE7? I believe your IE would have been updated to version 8 via Windows Updates if you have updates set for automatic.
