You've right Lisa. I had nothing but problems trying to get it to work. I upgraded my computer and tried it but still couldn't get past the 1.69 limit. I actually tried it on 3 different computers. I ended up sending it back since now I believe there was a problem with it from the beginning. I'll just have to wait for my new drive.

Update...Turns out that after upgrading my computer to Vista 64 bit, the HD still wouldn't' even see the rest of the drive. Sent it back to Seagate for a refund and I'm just going to order a regular external 4TB from them. The new NAS drive they just came out with has  a couple of settings that are not user definable and it seemed a waste of money and time trying to get this to work when I had a problem their settings anyway. Thanks for the help.
