But.... recently there was a post on the forum similar to yours. At the end, it seems that replacing the BIOS chip is not a viable option.
Some individuals have done it, but it is much more difficult that it would seem. You should contact the maker of the computer or the motherboard and find out what they would charge to do the job for you.
Please respond. Many here would like to know if there is a practical way to replace the BIOS chip.
