Computer screen shows a map of a country. Double click on a state on the map. Map of that state appears. Double click on a city. Map of that city appears.  How to do this?

    2.   a. A computer screen shows a group of people.  Click somewhere on the image and an outline (like a line drawing) of the group appears. b.  Double click on any person and details of that person appears. How to do this?

    3. An image, say a jpg, or a word or xls document shows on the screen.  Somehow (how?) write a notation on the image or text or numbers (xls).  Simple examples:  Draw an arrowed line between two cities, [City1] and [City2], and write “about 600km/8 hours driving”.   Or on an image of a group, write: “Graduation 2009”.  Or on a spreadsheet, write. “Hey this column doesn’t add up. Please fix”.   The notation (still handwritten (!) becomes part of the file (to send to someone or return to a sender).  How to do this?        (It’s not quite a “Yellow sticky note” solution is it, because don’t want a “floating” ‘piece of paper’
