    Start menu icons are unreadable
    « on: June 23, 2013, 10:44:55 AM »
Hi I am having a couple of problems with my laptop.  I noticed that on my start menu all the lettering is faded to where they are virtually unreadable.  One more thing the computer is over 10 years old and every once and a while it won't boot up, gets half way through on the cmos and hangs there.  Might take several times of shutting off the computer before it gets past the center hang or the progress bar.   My operation system is window 7 ultimate and have an Toshiba satellite. .  Might take several times of shutting off the computer before it gets past the center hang up.  It does not affect anything else other than the start menu, that is all other functions are just fine.  I can reboot and the problem goes away but it fades in time............need help     ...............two-dogs
