    HDD Problem
    « on: July 26, 2013, 07:47:25 AM »
My 2nd PATA HDD is not responding. I am attaching the PATA HDD using a separate IDE cable with Cable Select Jumper Setting. The HDD detected in BIOS, but when I want to run my PC using my main SATA HDD the screen becomes black after the Windows Start Up logo. The HDD LED light is on. I need to recover those data. Need Help.

So you want the computer to start up from the SATA drive, right? Go into the bios and under boot options, make sure your SATA drive is the first and only drive listed under boot priority.
