Are they known to be compatible with that operating system?

First off, please stop using CAPS... In the internet world today, using all caps in your message shows that you are yelling at us, and is seen as "rude". Second, has this always happened on this computer? Which operating system are you using? Do you have an internet connection? A firewall installed? (please note that a firewall might be built into your router)

It's me again(ANDREI but logged as AndreiB)! WORLD CUP98,FIFA98,FIFA99,2000 etc. are 100% compatible with Win XP but that problem with LAN still occur. BUT i forgot to tell you all that fifa 2001...2005 works.Probably because fifa2001,2002,2003etc uses very well TCP/IP and WORLDCUP98,FIFA98,FIFA99,2000 are using IPX?! I guarantee that problem has NO relation with internet or firewall.!!!!!!! I TRIED to play on LAN on computers with NO internet, firewall etc! Windows XP is to blame. Finaly wats the Sollution?
I refer to PATCH for windows! For those games EA Sports doesn't give!!!THEN how can I configure the Network Protocols?Give some examples! thanks!

Have you gone to the game manufacturer's website for any patch that might be available? Have you contacted the manufacturer for support? Also, it is possible that the firewall is doing this if the selected game(s) are not on the trusted list with rights...

What have you done to get info? Have you gone to the Game Maker's web site? Googled for it? has it ever worked? If you "know for certain" that's it's got nothing to do with network or firewall, then what do you think it is? What's your best guess?

It will be your Firewall are you sure its not?

Try Disabling your firewall and then seeing if the games will work...

It's not... Firewalls cause isses like this.... If you can't connect over a network or to the internet, usually the firewall needs work... The prots are probably just closed...

Do you have ipx protocol installed?

to check:
click start>connections>show all connections
right click local area network>properties
This list shows all you services and protocols installed... check for something that says ipx. If you don't click add>protocol>ipx. It may ask for you windows disk.

IPX is installed! Maybe it must be configured somehow.
