Many XP computers come with a CD that contains the software XP needs for sudio, video and other hardware. What is the Brand and Model of yhour computer?
If it is a Dell, go to the dell site at www.dell.com
But if it is HP goto the HP site at  www.hp.com
    For Acer it is www.acer.com
Sony also has a web site. So does Toshiba.
On the site, look for support and downloads.
Each site  has specific instruction on how to download and install.

But...Did something strange happen to your PC? Did you try a program that claims to make it better?
Normally any audio driver should  not just disappear.
