I bought a philips PSC805 external usb2 soundcard and I already regret it . I have a USB2 tv tuner and the only way to hear it is to to use the line in connection of the sundcard .. but ... You can only record the line in without hearing it ... or monitor it (it is sent straight to the front 2 speakers). So there is no way to hear it from all 6 channels. Only philips can do something like this
So I was wondering is there any software that can capture the line in sound and send it back to the soundcard. That way if the card receives it through the directx it will upconvert it to 5.1 and it will work fine. But I have not found anything like this .... I'll appreciate any help.
