Isn't this Tera Online, the same game as Tera Rising which is free to download and play now?  Was looking at the daily deals on www.newegg.com and was like are they trying to trap people into buying a game for $15 which is now free for download and play?

The reviews (and I) can tell the story:

Being a free to play game, there are many items and status perks you can buy in their online cash store.

This is a "founder" pack, with character expansion slots, extra bank tabs, exclusive cash mounts, etc. It is basically a pack of virtual items you can buy for the free game in a fancy physical box.

Also the physical copy installs much much faster, and the founder status is almost as good as a monthly membership, and the benefits are permanent.
