    « on: November 13, 2013, 08:26:27 PM »
Sorry this is on the wrong section but since its network problem I am guessing it goes here so here is my problem So my power went out for a few seconds las week when it came back i turn on my pc and i could not connect to the internet i checked my drivers and i had no network adapter i try re installing and keep getting the same message "the realtek controller was not found if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable" I try looking up solutions for it here is what I have tried

Going to bios and setting the defaults
    Taking out the ram
Taking my whole computer apart and putting it together
Installing the drivers from the website and disc that came my motherboard
Connecting the Ethernet straight to the computer nothing

I don't think it's the NIC card because when I connect the Ethernet cable to the pc it lights up green so I don't know what to do can anyone help

    I am running windows 7
    Can someone help

I would still try another NIC card...about 15 Bucks.
Many times in storms or power outages the NIC is the 1st component to take the hit...
