    working with files (corrected)
    « on: January 28, 2014, 07:19:35 PM »
When working with files oin a folder, the folder keeps reverting back to the start,(the first file).
Example:  I have a folder with 150 files, all .jpg pictures.  When I'm working with the files, usually
changing the names, or something as simple as that, when I finish with a file and want to go to the next, the folder reverts back to file number one.  I then have to relocate the next file I want to work with.  My question is, how do I stop this useless action?  Personally, I can't imagine any logical reason for it.  I'm using Windows 7, IE 9.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

YES!  Thank you, although I haven't tried the solution yet, at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
      Thank you again.

I use Classic Shell & Auto Arrange is still enabled.
      Try this one:  http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/92758-windows-explorer-auto-arrange-disable.html
