    Windows 8 not loading

    So i have a windows 8.1 gateway that whenever i start it up it goes to 1 or 2 pages 1 bieng the "please wait" page or the other saying "getting windows ready dont turn off your computer. Is there anything that can be done to help me?

      db100547 informed me that i might have to do a repair install but i was wondering if there was a way to get into the windows 8 files from linux off a thumbdrive to find the one that needs to be replaced and replace it? im just wondering.
