    i am running windows 7 64bit and i am trying to install software from my last OS windows xp, but i cannot seem to get it to install
    can anyone help me please

    You need to provide more information. What is the specific software? Exactly what happens when you try to install it?

      it is a windows excel training disc, and when i start to run install.exe nothing happens

      You can download and save the microsoft office training videos on your hard drive and view it using VLC if the problem is with the disc or optical drive itself sxcorpio. :)
