    ie 11 freeing up

    I have windows 7 with ie 11.  ie 11 keeps freezing up randomly.  I have to correct it by using ctl-alt-delete.  how do I fix this as it is increasing getting annoying.

    More info...
    It could be anything from system specs...free HDD space...connection issues etc. etc etc.

    Let's start at the beginning. Has it always been a problem or did it start recently? Do other browsers work normally? If you run IE "safe mode" what happens?

      it has only become a problem within the last couple months. the only browser that I have used is .  google chrome messes everything up.  I don't recall it doing it to this extent on ie 10.
