    Loading Java VM

    I'm trying to download Java Virtual Machine from the website, and it will not load right. It loads and then tells me its not there...to verify. I do this and it starts all over again... a nested loop >:(
    I have windows xp with sp2. I hope there is secret to it. Its getting really frustrating :-[
    What a long, strange trip its been...

      it didn't work...I even used Mozilla to try it >:( What is up with this? I'm thinking of copying it to a disk and trying to load it that way...what do you think?

      Info:Windows XP SP2 users: if you encounter an error, look at the top of this page for a yellow bar that reads "This site might require the following ActiveX control: 'J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 5' from 'Sun Microsystems, Inc.'. Click here to install..." Click the yellow bar and choose "Install ActiveX Control..." to allow installation to proceed.

      Have you tried the manual download?

      It took just over two minutes to download it using Opera 8 :)
