How do you allow users access to various programs? I have windows 8 and  microsoft word xp I'm new at this. I have 2 administrator users and 3 standard and the 2 admin have access to word & excel but I don't know how to give the others access.

What do you mean by they dont have access? What happens when they try and run Word or Excel?

It's all done thru Control Panel /Administration...and can be set for each user selectively.
