I've tried several email accounts on two different computers and in ever instance I am sent: http://

That's strange. I'll keep my eyes open for anyone with the same issue.

Anyone who wants to revert back to Firefox 28.0,

FileHippo keeps an older version library on all software. Just visit the software download page and it's on the right. http://filehippo.com/download_firefox

Full version download history. http://filehippo.com/download_firefox/history

Good to know ... However, I have always preferred EXE's from original source/owner though since its less likely to be altered with a bundled trojan etc or fake. I always scan all downloads anyways before executing them, but just saying. Good to know that FileHippo can be used if I needed, such as gone from the original source/owners site. I will just be extra careful with data from there if i download from there.

FileHippo is one website that has never and hopefully will never modify installers or allow modified installers. Majorgeeks and Filehippo are the only two download websites that I will 100% endorse.

But you are right. It's always best to download from the source.

I don't know if everyone is aware of this add-on. I have used it for so many years I actually forget that it's an add-on instead of the default options.

Toolbar Buttons 1.0 http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button

After install I get to the Customize panel by right clicking an empty space in the top of the browser and choosing Customize. You will find loads of custom and "hidden" add-on buttons that you can drag-drop into the toolbar and add-on bar.

http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/button_list < Only a partial list. The add-ons you have installed will have extra buttons that you find once the add-on is installed.

I was able to get a status bar of sorts by right-clicking and choosing customize on the main toolbar. I dragged a "Status Text" thingie to the bottom and I have a statusbar again. I was also able to grab the Reload and Stop buttons from that customize Menu and drag them in place next to the location bar. Hopefully that is what you are after, Allan.

I believe the "Status Text" thingie to which you refer is part of "Status-4-Evar" - a status bar add-on that I also use. It will also allow you to drag a progress bar to the new status bar if you don't like seeing it at the bottom left of a web page.

Agreed. I can't drag and drop anything down there without The Addon Bar (restored) enabled. I have a 'Status Bar' button but I think it was for FF 28 because it doesn't work with FF 29 for toggling the Status or Add-on bar.

Is this a ridiculous headline or what? Mozilla Introduces the Most Customizable Firefox Ever with an Elegant New Design

Quote from: Mozilla Blog
We reimagined and redesigned Firefox to reflect how you use the Web today and we are excited to introduce many features including an elegant and fun design, new menu, customization mode and an enhanced Firefox Sync service powered by Firefox Accounts.

"Most Customizable Firefox Ever" - Yea. Once you find the add-ons needed to customize it. I fail to see the validity of their claims.

Yep, you are correct. I didn't even know I had it installed but that must be where it was coming from.

In View - Toolbars you'll see "Add-On Bar". That's the Status-4-Evar Status bar.

For those that upgraded to last version - how is FF 29 when it comes to speed? Does it start faster? Any other noticeable speed improvement?

I haven't noticed any performance improvements. I don't think this build was focused on improving any of that. Speed will be dealt with in coming versions.

My TabMixPlus text has been blurry for a while now so I just accepted that and now over look it.

I don't know if this is relevant to anyone but I have just been looking at Firefox Themes and noticed when I hover the mouse over some white or light colored themes it removes my tab text blur. I use dark solid themes (currently bluegrid) so I'm on the hunt for a dark non-blurry text in tab theme. So far no luck...

I just saw this on Lifehacker. Small Tabs 1.1 - Firefox has removed tab size options and this allows for tabs to compact to smaller sizes while also bypassing tab scrolling.

I know Tab Mix Plus has tab size options but I haven't tested it to see if it still works. I like Small Tabs 1.1 better.

I'm using the nightly build of Tab Mix Plus and it appears to have visual problems with Australis. Mostly with highlighting tabs.

Blurry text? That might be your theme and TMP. Go to the themes website and hover the mouse over a few themes with a white background to see if it clears up. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/
