How to Dual Boot Windows 7 and 8
« on: October 10, 2014, 10:24:30 AM »
This is not a problem, but an observation. I have used dual-boot on both desktop and laptop computers.  There have been some rough spots. There is a lot of information already about the subject. Yet still some people have trouble with this.
Here is a general method.
First, have backups  storage already verified and ready.
Next use any good partition tool to divider a good hard drive into two or more primary portions. Or maybe two primary partitions and on extended partition.
When ready, install Windows 7  as a custom install, chose the first partition.
Last, install windows 8.
 :)
