I have upgraded my motherboard to MSI KT6V. It has Athlon xp2600 cpu, 256mb memory (pc2700).
MSI corecell reports FSB 166 and multiplier 11.5 i.e. 1.909Ghz, but when getting system report from Sisoft Sandra Lite 2005 is reports the CPU as xp2400 and also show the Northbridge chipset as Via KT400 when spec for motherboard states that it should be KT600.
One final thing that I have found is that Motherboard should support AGP x8 but in BIOS only get 3 options Auto, x2 or x4.
Other that above system opertates and usable but I would like to get at very least the MSI quoted performance from system. Hope someone somewhere can help.
