5.25" floppy disks and drives

I have some old 5.25" floppies that I need to get files off of, but I don't have a computer with a 5.25" floppy drive.  Are these drives still being manufactured and sold, or are they completely extinct?  If they are still being sold, where can I buy one, and would I be able to hook it up to my computer (Win XP)?

I don't think XP recognizes those. You will probably need to get an older machine and have an operating system AND a 5 1/5" drive. PM me if interested.

Hi, check your bios settings for A and B drive if they can be changed to the old 5 inch drives you should have no problem with the operating system seeing it. I do not know where you could find a new drive but should searce the internet and proably you will find one. I have several.
