Printer problems
« on: March 21, 2015, 11:52:29 AM »
Hi. I was asked to help a friend get his printer working after upgrading to a new computer with 8.1. The message I get is that the printer won't run on USB 3.0  Is there any type of adapter that he could use to get this printer working?

It's kinda likely not all his USB ports are 3.o...have him check his manual and hook it to a USB 2.0 port...
However i've never heard of that error message...did he DLoad and update the drivers for 8.1 yet ? ?

The HP Office Jet K80* isn't compatible with Windows 8.

*Printer model selected based on Google search for given error message
