I downloaded the driver for this monitor but no clue where to make adjustments so the screen display fills the entire screen edge to edge instead of that 3 inches of black to the left. Windows 7, NO idea about the other details you ask for. The highest resolution available in my screen options is  1024 x 768 but recommended resolution for this monitor says it should be 1920 x 1080. The hertz matches (60) and it is on 32 bit true setting.  Help?? THanks, and can you please email me individually Also there is no category for MONITORS and I wonder where this inquiry should be placed other than windows 7?    ??? ???

You say 1024 x 768 ? That is terrible. Is this monitor new? Under warranty?
You mean the monitor driver, not the GPU driver.
May I suggest you remove the monitor drive completely. Then reboot and let Windows install a generic driver for the monitor.
