my yahoo messenger wont work

I recently changed internet providers & lost my e-mail addy. if I go to create a new account it tells me theres no program associated with it. what do I need to do

yahoo messenger is not an email client or email service, so why did you put it in your title if your main question is about email? 

Was the email account you lost one provided by your former ISP?  Exactly where and how are you trying to create a new email account?
