Ugly tray items, can I remove some?
    « on: May 28, 2015, 08:43:08 PM »
I have a bunch of items on my System tray. Some of the items I don't know what they are but I am going to provide an image and can you tell me which ones I can remove without breaking my laptop?

For the record, the area you are referring to is actually called the "Notification Area". This misnomer is discussed here.

If you want to remove Notification Icons, you can customize the notification area and hide some of them- If you do so they will appear in the foldout, rather than being right on the taskbar. Optionally, you can uninstall whatever programs are showing them.

    OK.  Got it.
So I will stop calling it "tray" when everybody...

It is still a battery with only one cell by definition.
