Hi, My computer (HP Pavilion Desktop), or should I say Windows 7 (Up to date on Microsoft updates prior to problem) will not allow programs to be installed. I get a pop up window stating that the Installer Service Is Not Available. I have run Kaspersky 2015 (Up to date) and iObit System Care 8. Both these programs come up clean.
When it comes to sorting out this kind of problem I am a complete 'rookie', so hopefully someone may have the answer to this problem, as I really don't want to take the factory reset option as it would really be a real pain.
