    It says the BIOS might need an update prior to the CPU, I just want to make sure that the BIOS is updated to use that CPU. Thanks!

    According to Gigabyte both motherboards (revision 1 & 2) will support that CPU out of the box. No BIOS update exists that expands CPU support for those motherboards.

    He has spent a week in Chat being told the same things...

    As i suggested to him i would not buy a MBoard/CPU combo that required a BIOS flash...
    Too many other options out there.
