    Pinnacle Studio 17 editing question
    « on: September 14, 2015, 08:57:18 PM »
I bought a used version of Pinnacle Studio 17 and am completely lost (I've only used Windows Movie Maker previously).  I was wondering if it's possible with this program to edit audio tracks separately on a video?  For example, if I have a video file with dialogue and background music at the same time, is it possible to remove the music while leaving the dialogue intact?

      Short answer, NO.
Long answer. Most video files have the audio tracks merged into a left and right stereo mix. So you only have two tracks to work with.
In some cases you might remove the voice track, but not the music.
