I know you can use the COLOR command and TITLE command but is there a command that lets you change the size of the actual DOS console and buffer size?

Standard NT/2000/XP dos box command is.

CMD /C "START MAX 'title this' cmd.exe"

This will start a dos box maximized. But not full screen.
      Use CMDOW.EXE form:

CMDOW [Version 1.4.3] Win32 Commandline Window Utility for NT4/2000/XP.
