    I am not sure what on board audio driver I need for my board, Intel D848PMB running Windows 7 Pro

        Hello,

        The discontinued Intel® Desktop Boards listed below do not have Windows 7* support.
        Intel® Desktop Board D848PMB
        Intel will not provide support for that Motherboard.

        More unsupported Intel boards listed below;

        I can only see one audio driver for Windows on Intel's site, the others are for Linux: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/50347/Intel-Desktop-Board-D848PMB.

        Due to the age of the board those drivers only list support up to Windows XP.  They may work on Windows 7 but they also may not.
