MS Paint problem
« on: November 22, 2005, 10:34:12 AM »
???I use MS Paint for cartoon panel layouts (quick and easy to use for ordinary line sketching with pencil tool).
Previously, I had 98 Paint and pencil tool worked fine and smooth(far as bitmap's concerned) for rendering curved freehand lines useing laser mouse. I recently upgraded to XP, and it seems to me that XP Paint pencil tool has a jerky feel and look when rendering curved lines, and the curved lines themselves appear saw toothed...that is to say the pixels come out sort of jagged on the curves.  I notice too the circle or oval tool is not as smooth looking either, as it was in 98.
Am I imagining all this...MS Paint users please respond.

Have you tried installing MS Paint from Windows '98?

You can find an MS Paint '95 download on ComputerHope.
