    Hi  -
The last couple of weeks when I log on,  I have been getting a panel labeled "WinZip Driver Updater"  Without my permission they run a scan and say I have 15 out of date updates.  Is this a liget or is it some kind of scam?  I can't get rid of the panel.   Any information will be appreciated.    Bob

You can uninstall WinZip Driver Updater from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel. If you need guidance on how to do this, reply with details of what operating system you are using (e.g. XP, Vista, Windows 7)

Thanks for the reply.  Dumb of me for not thinking of your suggestion.     Bob

Did it work? (You are not dumb. Software increasingly comes bundled with adware and nagware and it can be hard to keep on top of it all.)

I have not had the problem since I removed it.  Thanks again.    Bob
