Thousands of unwanted files

Someone please help me, i was downloading something the other day and now everytime i log onto my computer i have thousands of files that dont do anything and even if i delete them, they keep coming back either while im still logged on or when i turn my computer on again, and when i log on my desktop doesnt load (well it loads every so often). PLEASE HELP

    Do these files have a name or or they just random ...and where are you finding them? What operating system are you using and what spyware removers are you using ?

    It sounds like your system has been hijacked.

    As above, what were the results of your malware/spyware scans?  Ad Aware, Norton, etc.)?

    Im using panda antivirus protection, and when i do a full computer scan iom told there is nothing wrong.
    The files all have different names, but when i delete them they come back with the same names they had, all i know is that they are .exe files.
    PLEASE HELP

    There are nasties other than virii. Use Adaware, Spybot and Ewido (all free, just google for them) and see what you find.

      try to use this army of bots on your computer, some are free, for some you have to pay, but, you can always download a free trail (and al programs are safe. Don't forget one to run, download them all, there safe:


      ad-aware                  (lavasoft)
      spy sweeper             (webroot)
      CWshredder             (trend micro)
      spybot                      (Safer Networking Limited )
      spyware doctor        (PC Tools Pty. Ltd.)
      spyware blaster       (Javaco cool Software LLC)
      ccleaner                    (no company name found)

      I downloaded Ewido and scannedd my computer, after the scan i reboot my computer and all the files appear to have gone.
