Losing audio
« on: November 24, 2005, 10:32:36 AM »
Hello all, my first post here.
I am hoping someone could explain this.  After my computer has been on for a day I lose the audio.  A reboot brings it back but I know this can't be right!  I have spoken to others who are running XP and have noticed the same thing.  Anyone with an explanation?

System Profile:
eMach T-6522
Windows XP MCE 2005
200GB HD
300GB HD
Athlon 64 3500+ 2.3GHZ Venice processor
1 GB RAM
ATI Radeon xPress 200 chip set

Thanx in advance.  MrJ

XP?

Ok, so....... It's an XP thing.  I realize others  running XP have noticed this but is there a fix?  I mean this is a real hassle if I want to wireless media center to my home theater.
Thanx MrJ

    Update, update, update...
XP, DirectX & Sound Drivers from the Manufacturer's website.
    See what happens after that.
