What is the make and model of your main computer?
Does your main computer hooked to the router with cable?
Does the outage appeared to occur at any time of day?

Are you living in a suburban area with the just one house on a lot?
Or are you living in apartment complex with two more floors? Would you describe your area as big metropolitan, suburban or rural?
Are there any industrious, factories or large commercial installations near your location? Specifically question television stations, radio stations, airports electrical substations and so forth. Is there a railroad track nearby? How often does the train come by?
By answering these questions it helps eliminate just random guessing at what your problem might be.
Otherwise, I would guess you're living there an airport and the Wi-Fi goes out every time smaller plane flies over your house. Would that be a fair description of the problem?
