Looking for an OS Independent Benchmarking Tool
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:44:14 PM »
Does anyone know of an OS independent benchmarking tool?  I am having a major problem with my computer speed and want to rule out a hardware issue.  I am looking for something I can put on a bootable CD or something not something for Windows.

Yes cademichaels, you have got me hopping all over the place too.
Didn't you say you already tried replacing your cpu & mobo in a previous thread?
Maybe not? It's all to slow on dialup for me to go hunting down your previous ones.

Ignore this thread,  I only posted here to see if someone would be able to find an OS independent Benchmarking tool.  The other thread is still the one about the troubleshooting

They are not all for Windows...any decent benchmark tool runs independent of the OS...
