Links open in small window

Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem of when going to a link from a web site, the link opens in a small 3 by 4 window. I have to click the maximize button to see full screen. How do I fix this problem? Please e-mail me an answer if you know.

It could be written into the code of the website to do that so you can see the screen you were on originally. Some links use the page you were on and some open a new window.

When you open your web browser initially does it open full screen?
Try opening a link, expanding it and then right clicking on the window and select refresh. Close it again and try opening the same link again.
