Advise on the better of 2 desktops please

Hello everyone, Im hoping some of you may have a few moments to share advise on which of the 2 desktops would be better for casual graphic / web design. I typically use photshop, dreamweaver, illustrator and office suite. I need a new space saving desktop and have narrowed my options down to the following:

1- HP Desktop Computer 8200 Elite Intel Core i7 2nd Gen 3.4 GHz 4 GB 500 GB HDD Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit
(My concern is it only has 4 gb ram, doesnt say whether ddr3 or 4, and only 500gb hdd. )

2 - HP Compaq 6305 Pro Small Form Desktop, AMD Quad Core A8 5500 3.2Ghz, 16GB DDR3, 1TB Hard Drive, DVDRW, Windows 10
(Im not crazy about win 10 but it does have 16gb ram and a larger hdd. Oddly enough, this one is cheaper than above, but seems to offer more. or am I missing something?)

From what ive read the processors are somewhat similar in performance, so I was leaning towards the 2nd one with more ram and bigger hdd. Its listed $20 less than the 1st one with only 4gb ram. So am Im missing something or not understanding the specs?

I'd take Intel over AMD anyways...just opinion...

1 thing i will point out is if you select a small form factor PC they are usually limited for upgrades as opposed to full desktop.

Thank you Patio. Does the Intel having only 4gb ram play any part in this? Would Intel still be the better option with 1/4 the ram than the AMD?

Look up the specs and see how much RAM can be added later...

I would go with the intel machine and upgrade the ram; ram is inexpensive.
