    BIOS Setup
    « on: November 19, 2016, 12:58:05 AM »
    Hi!

I want to enable my Virtualizition in my BIOS, but I can't because my BIOS looks different. I can't find any with a similar issue.
I have a HP Pavilion. I can acces my BIOS, but it looks different.

Here is how it should look like: http://prntscr.com/d95mqr
This is how it looks on my pc: http://imgur.com/a/57iEV

That's the Startup screen. What happens if you press F10 at that screen?

Just a guess - did you press the Esc key at startup to get to that screen? Try pressing F10 instead. Or tell us what model the HP is.

      I do press F10.
Where do I check the model?

Model is usually on a label underneath if it is a laptop, or on the cover page of the manual.

When I press F10, it shows me a different BIOS. I took some pictures of it here. http://imgur.com/a/57iEV
When I go on advanced, there should be a virtualization button, but there isn't.
I don't know if this is the model, but I think I found the model here. It says Model No. 500-565nf
        My BIOS version is 80.05

It's an HP Pavilion 500-565nf. When you wrote "This is how it should be", how do you know that?

That's how it looks on others if you google it. Their BIOS looks different.

That exact same model? HP Pavilions use a number of different motherboards and they can have different BIOSes. Post a link to a page with a picture (on the web, not imgur).

It's on google. I just need to turn on the virtualization, but I dont have it.
Here are some videos tutorials that I found but aren't working for me because of my issue.

The virtualization option should be under "Security" and "System Security".

The BIOS screens depicted in the videos are of other people's machines. An HP BIOS setup isn't supposed to look like a Dell setup screen, for example, regardless of how many videos on youtube depict a Dell BIOS  screen.

I would recommend taking others advice and pressing the keys recommended to you then you can get to the screen that shows up on your device take a picture and we might be able to help you from there
