Ok. So, a week ago I noticed that my computer was hard locking when the screen turned off. My first reaction was to change the power settings to keep the screen on forever, but again, after some time away I found that the mouse and keyboard were unresponsive and my clock was locked to a time before now. The computer had froze and only the power switch hard resting it would do anything about it.
The thing that was weird is that so long as there is some sort of input, this wont happen. Typing, mouse movement or game controller button presses will keep me normal. Something else that is weird is that it will still freeze if running a program, like antivirus or malware bytes, and will freeze video files if not full screen, but if I stream video in full screen or play games or video files in full screen, it's fine.
I tried reinstalling windows 10, and it worked for a few days, but the problem came back. I tried changing my GPU to an older card thinking it might be a hardware issue, but it happened with the old card in too. None of the easy to find suggestions on forums seem to be working. I'm really at a loss for what is happening.
Can anyone help me out? I'm including my dxdiag.
