    pls admin.. i try to update my system, but it is not updating,,, did i have to install another o/s or what should i do?

      after connecting my system to the internet for update,,, after some while about 2 to 3 min, it display error to update and show this code code 8024400A
      i have changed the update setting to the recommendation....but still it is not updating
