I know CCleaner is legit... but I'm not sure about SlimCleaner. It gets mixed reviews. Is it actually safe?

I avoid any sort of "PC Cleaner" / "Speed up" tools, they are almost always completely pointless and if they do make any difference, I often find that that difference is that they cause a problem by deleting something that they shouldn't.
