Proplem with direct X and HALO

Hi all, i just reinstalled a game called HALO.  When i go to run the game, it is saying that direct X acceleration maybe disabled, but it isn't.  I've done test's and etc.  What in the world is wrong, i really wanted to play the game.

    what is your os, and what is the version from your direct-x

    My dad says it could be my new video card, and my directx version is the latest.

      Make sure your graphics hardware is cranked up to full acceleration.
