My computer resets

I have a 3 yr old compaq with xp.
Sometimes when i move or click the mouse the computer resets I use the comuter every day and this happens once or twice a week.
Any ideas?

Turn off 'Auto re-boot on System Failure'.
Check your Device manager for mouse problems.
Try a different mouse.
Check your Event Viewer for warnings etc.
