Solutions to Trasmit Audio Wirelessly to Speakers?
« on: December 13, 2005, 04:00:33 PM »
Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a wireless way to connect my laptop to my standalone speaker system, without using cables to connect the two. When I use my laptop at home, I want to listen to music on my external speaker system, but I hate the hassle of having to plug a cable leading from my speakers to my headphone jack on my laptop. Currently, I need to sit within the cable's length of my speakers.

My question is: is there some device you can suggest to wirelessly beam audio from my laptop's headphone jack to my speakers? Maybe some wireless device I can plug into my laptop? Basically I'm trying to bypass the restraint of the cable. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Simon

Yup.  There are all kinds of stuff to eliminate the cables when you want to play media from you PC/Laptop to your sound/video/multimedia system.

Even MS has a few suggestions:  http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/northrup_03december01.mspx
