Conversion of octet (8-dot rectangle) items
« on: December 20, 2005, 08:27:50 AM »
I have items, such as  business cards, that are no longer
readable as plain text.  Instead, they appear as 8-dot
rectangles. Some of the items were done  by the now
discarded Print Shop program.

Is there a procedure  for converting these items back to
readability?

I am using Firefox on a PC. Would MS Works be of any use?

Thanks in advance

You will need whatever program that created those files to view them properly...It's possible that they converted to other file formats which would make them readable.
