How can yu change the Windows10 Splash Screen
« on: March 27, 2018, 12:13:23 AM »
Splash Screen:
Alternatively referred to as a boot screen, boot skin, or welcome screen. The splash screen is an introduction page that is displayed as a program or computer is loading or booting. For example, when a Microsoft Windows computer is starting up, there is a Windows splash screen that is displayed while Windows is loading. Typically the splash screen can include a logo or other image, as well as a company name, and sometimes the company's slogan. In the picture below, is an example of what the BIOS splash screen for a Dell computer that appears when the computer is booting.

I do not like the current Splash Screen . Maybe I will tell you why later. :-X
But for now, can you tell me if it is possible to change, alter or replace the Spash screen in Windows 10 1709 ? It is img100.jpg and found deep in a protected directory.
Please?  :-*

Settings->Personalization->Lock Screen To change the lock screen.

A toggle option is there to make the sign-in screen use the same image.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

Thanks BC
So it is called the Lock Screen now. OK. I will remember that
........
OK, did it. Looks good.
I have multi-boot on my personal computer and I like it when each OS has its own log in screen. this PC has:
 Windows XP
 Windows 7
 Windows 10
 Windows 10 64 bit
Before changing the lock screen, both Windows 10 log in screens has the same image.
The would confuse me and start to give me a headache. Now I can tell just from the image which system is asking for my password.

Thanks again.  :)
