DDRAM

I have a new packard bell pc, inside it has a 256mb ddram stick but the system is only recognising 192mb of ram! WHY?

    On board video with 64 meg shared ram.

    thanx, I take it if I get a graphics card and or more RAM, it will work faster ???

      As long as your motherboard supports more ram and you get the right type, it will improve performance. Installing a video card and disabling on board video will help.
