Problem with any game I try to play

Running XP PROF. PENT 4. 3.20 ghz. 1 GB RAM


I am having the same problem with all games. The games load up OK but immediately I start playinng the screen flickers. It goes black for about a second, and then the game returns. With GTA this happens about every thirty seconds, which is naturally affecting my driving. With Call of Duty it happens every ten seconds  which makes the game impossible to play.

Any ideas?

Raptor. If I can just indulge you? How do I find out what videocard driver is correct, and once I know that, where do I get it from?
